Altar Servers at Holy Trinity can assist the clergy during most divine services which are celebrated throughout the week. Boys begin serving in the altar between the ages of 7 and 9, and continue throughout their life. Men serve in the altar as well at Holy Trinity. Altar Servers include Subdeacons, Readers, and laymen. Anyone interested in serving in the altar should speak to Fr. Martin.

In addition to Altar Servers, at Holy Trinity we have opportunities for young girls to become involved as Handmaidens during certain aspects of divine services.

Whether assisting with the collection after the Great Entrance, preparing for the post-communion (antidoron) bread and wine, or participating in processions on feast days, girls of all ages are encouraged to take an active role in the life of our community. The privilege of serving as either an altar server or a handmaiden is extended to all those youth who arrive on-time and attend divine services at Holy Trinity regularly. 

Altar servers and handmaidens serve distinctive public ministries during the Divine Liturgy in our church on Sundays and feast days. We are grateful that our children can take part in the liturgy actively and continue their growth in Christ.
